Another

This anime is based on a horror novel under the same name. It starts with a student who transfers to a school in some town of Japan. His father is an archaeologist so he does not live with him and his mother is dead. He is living with his aunt and grandparents. In school he notices that there is a girl that seems odd and nobody seems to know anything about her. In fact everybody says she does not exist. Curious of what is going on he will get into serious problems as he finds out people around his classmates are dying in horrible and rare ways. He will find out a big secret within that school and so will you! This anime is great. I liked it a lot because the plot is intriguing and with suspense. Also I like the gore side of it. I hope this turns on your curiosity and you go check it out!

High School of the Dead

Do you like gore? Do you like ecchi? This is a mix of both and more! Whether you like girls with good attributes or just killing zombies you would Love this anime for so many reasons. It all starts in this high school where one normal day out of a sudden someone appeared at the entrance gate. A man was euphorically trying to get in and teachers passing by got concerned about it. without notice this stranger man was already eating another man and everything got filled by screams, a normal day in this high school became the beginning of hell.The anime follows a group students in company of a girl and the school nurse as they fight throughout the zombie outbreak to survive. As they continue surviving they realize that no longer zombies were the only threat. They face the reality that whenever a catastrophe hits a society, the people within it can be tempted to turn their sight away and do everything to remain alive. All I have to say is "zombie attack!" so you must watch it.

Ao no Exorcist

I liked this anime since the first episode! I am one of those who like short series (Max 24 episodes) but by the end of this anime I was like "noooooooo!!" I did not even know it finished. I spent the whole week waiting for next episode and then I realized there was no more :'( . This anime starts with Rin, a lazy guy who has unnatural strength and it's always involve in fights or problems. He lives in this temple/church with his father, twin brother and other priests. His twin brother is about to study the True Cross Academy, a very prestigious institute. Once Yukio (Rin's twin brother) departs a series of events happen that lead Rin to discover a big secret. Rin is adopted and he discovers that his real father is no one else than Satan. He discovers this because Satan goes to his home to kidnap him and in the fight he kills Rin's father Shiro. Rin filled with anger seeks a sword that releases his hidden powers becoming half human half demon. After this event he meets Mephisto, the director of True Cross Academy. Rin swears to become the best exorcist and swears to kill Satan in revenge. Mephisto hearing this takes Rin to the academy to study in a special exorcism school. It is a very good plot filled with fights, demons and action. If you have not watched it yet then let me tell you should.

Mahō Shōjo Madoka Magika

You may think "oh it's about cute girls fighting", well it is and is not. This anime goes beyond the idea of a cute girl fighting. The plot centers around Madoka, a high school student that with her friend Sayaka discover that our world was being attacked by unknown entities called "witches". Witches existed since a long time ago and they are the reason for the death of many. They also meet a girl named Mami who explains to them that she is a Puella Magi (girl with magic powers) and that she fights those witches to help humanity. A girl becomes a Puella Magi by making a contract with a creature introduced as Kyubey. Kyubey will grant any wish to a girl in exchange of converting her in a Puella Magi and putting her to fight witches. They little know about Kyubey or the origin of a Puella Magi. As the episodes pass by they start to face the reality of what it is to be a Puella Magi and what purpose they serve. I enjoyed this anime a lot. I will be honest by saying that at the beginning I was not sure if this was worth watching. I told to myself "It's just girls with powers fighting witches... nothing new" but I was very wrong. This anime engaged me as it turns out nothing is what it seems to be. I would say this anime has a good psychological background that engages you to keep watching in order to know what is going to happen. I also would say that at some point, after deep thought about the plot, I felt sad for the characters. If you are curious about these girls and what is that psychological background that this anime carries then don't hesitate no more and go watch it!

High School DxD

Do you like ecchi? How about action? Well this combines both in a very good way! This anime presents Issei who is just pervert high school student fantasizing with touching some boobs. He surprisingly gets to go out on a date with a beautiful girl who will take his life. After his death he is revived by the gorgeous Rias Gremory (Sister of Satan, member of the Gremory family of demons) who had decided to bring him back to life in exchange of his services as her pet. Honestly you will see a lot ecchi all around this anime but the fights are also great and the plot is not bad at all. Check it out and you will be loving it!
